Facelift
In 2002, we completed the initial design phase of the revitalization of the Archbishop MacDonald south entrance and cafeteria. The need to improve this area has been apparent for some time. The bottlenecks of pedestrian and vehicle traffic inside and outside this entrance are addressed through these new plans. Additionally, the renovation of the cafeteria will provide adequate seating space for lunchtime and an enhanced gathering space for student collaboration, socializing and technology usage.
Thanks to the many families, alumni and businesses who have contributed to the "Mac Facelift". To date we have raised over $520,000 and are now the highest priority in the District Capital Plan. Completion of the project is very near as recent announcements by Alberta Education suggest that they are close to approving their share of the renovation funds.
Our goal for the remainder of this year is to reach $600,000. To reach this we need your support. All donations of $100 or more will be publicly recognized as one of the "Friends of Mac".
