ABOUT THE LIBRARY > Mission Statement
The Mac Library is a ‘program’ rather than a ‘place’.
This learning resources program seeks to:
 Provide maximum opportunities
for student growth
Promote literacy through
reading and research
Encourage and facilitate
the development of skills necessary for informed decision makers
 and independent,
life-long learners.
Enhance the effectiveness
of learning and instruction
The learning resource base at Mac High supports, extends, and enriches
all curricular studies and the general interests of staff and students.
Learning resources are housed in the Learning Resource Centre (LRC)
and in Subject Department libraries throughout the building. All materials
can be searched and accessed through our library catalogue (OPAC).
